AlumniAs you know, DC strives to independently develop a unique competition format open to all NU students. Typically, this competition requires the assembly of complex electronics and robotics to navigate a special course. This year is no exception, as we have devised a competition that allows two robots to compete simultaneously on side by side courses. The robots will have to pick up a flag at the beginning of the course and drop it in the designated area at the top of the course. The robot has to overcome various obstacles and ramps and drop the flag in the shortest time to win the round! Unfortunately, neither the course nor the competing robots are cheap, and since we do not receive enough financial assistance from the university we rely on help from private donors to build the course and help fund the robots. Design Competition needs your help to continue to provide a high caliber engineering competition to Northwestern undergraduates. You can help us achieve our goal of continuing to provide an excellent Design Competition! There are several materials that we are in need of to develop this year's course, and you can assist us in acquiring these materials by providing us with a monetary donation to help us purchase these materials and fund our contestants. As we are a not for profit organization affiliated with Northwestern University, all donations are tax deductible.
