Northwestern SWE Summer Technology and Engineering Program (STEP)

June 14-16, 2010

This year's Summer Program will take place on June 14-16th, 2010. The Summer Technology and Engineering Program (STEP) is a 3 Day non-residential camp for girls going into 8th and 9th grades to encourage them to explore careers in the field of engineering. Participants will:

Work in teams to complete and present a three day design activity.

Participate in hand-on activities and classroom lessons

Learn about the different engineering disciplines and the career opportunities within each.

Explore laboratories at Northwestern's Technological Institute

Interact in small groups with Northwestern undergraduate engineering students

Meet other girls who are also excited about engineering!
